Who counts as a lawyer?
Anyone who records billable time: partners, associates, consultants and graduate lawyers. Paralegals, assistants, bookkeepers and practice managers use Filebird free, however many you have.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Choose a plan and add a card to keep going. If you don’t, your account pauses and your data waits for 60 days. Nothing is ever charged automatically. Start your free trial.
Can we switch plans or add lawyers later?
Any time. Upgrades apply straight away and we charge the difference to the day. Downgrades and lawyers you remove come off your next invoice.
Do you charge for migration, setup or training?
No. Our migration team moves your matters, contacts, documents, time and trust ledgers for free, and every plan includes onboarding and training for your whole team.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. Monthly plans can be cancelled at the end of any month. Annual plans are paid upfront, with two months free, and only renew if you want them to.
Is Filebird Assist extra?
No. Filebird Assist is included in every plan, with no per-use charges or credits to buy. It never trains on your firm’s or your clients’ data.
Do prices include GST or sales tax?
Prices are per lawyer, per month, and exclude GST or sales tax. Tax is added to your invoice at the rate for your state or country.
Do you offer discounts?
Community legal centres, legal aid offices and registered not-for-profits get 40% off any plan. Firms with more than 20 lawyers get volume pricing from our sales team.
