We weren’t losing clients, we were losing hours. Filebird catches the calls and emails nobody wrote down, and our invoices finally match the work.

Before Filebird
Hale & Pike’s lawyers kept time in a spreadsheet at the end of each day, from memory. Calls, quick emails and late redrafts rarely made it in, and month-end was a negotiation over what could still be billed.
The switch
The firm moved its 1,900 open matters across in eleven days. Filebird now drafts a time entry from every call, email and document edit, filed to the right matter, for the lawyer to approve with one click.
What changed
In the first quarter each lawyer billed an extra 9.5 hours a week on average, and write-offs at month end fell by almost a third. Partners now review the week’s time on Friday morning instead of chasing it on Monday.
